Common Ground 2010

MPA's Common Ground Awards recognizes community leaders, projects and events with successful collaboration for the overall benefit of the community. Whether it is land development, economic development or community development, it is pertinent for all parties to find common ground. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz, this year's event will be another fun filled evening celebrating the collaborative spirit of many community members. The Wizard of Oz is thought by many to be a metaphor for the political and economic events in America in the late 1800's. America is presently facing similar economic challenges making it especially important for individuals, communities, companies and government to find common ground.
